The Sustainable Seeker is a blog to help you discover ways in making alternative choices that are eco-friendly and sustainable to help our environment.
The Sustainable Seeker hopes to help you realise your impact on the environment and ways in which we can each reduce it. We hope to encourage and inspire you to lead a more conscious lifestyle through small changes in your everyday.
Past Life
I worked as an Interior Designer and thought a career job was my purpose in life. (How wrong I was! There is so much more to life :)) Having worked in this industry I realised how wasteful it could be and would upcycle all the fabrics destined for the landfill into beautiful cushions.
This led me to set up a Home Decor and Lifestyle Brand called Saffron & Serai where the goal was to create alternatives to plastic cling wrap with sustainable and plastic-free Beeswax Food Wraps and upcycle any waste fabrics into beautiful, long-lasting and reusable shopping bags!
Along this journey I learnt more about sustainability and how simple changes can make a big difference. I wanted to share my discoveries and thus started The Sustainable Seeker!
Our Mission
To highlight that living sustainably can be simple and affordable and share that anyone can make a change regardless of their background and surroundings!
